A 1 MW ground-mounted photovoltaic plant in Zhambyl Region. We carried out the design, construction and installation, and commissioning — from the pile field to the remote generation monitoring system.
The client's objective
To build a solar plant connected to the grid with transparent monitoring of generation. Southern Kazakhstan is one of the sunniest regions of the country, so the site is well suited for generation, but structures must be designed for wind and heat.
Solutions
- pile foundations for the mounting structures — fast installation without massive concrete foundations;
- steel structures for the photovoltaic modules with a calculated tilt angle;
- installation of modules and cable routes;
- an inverter and transformer substation for delivering power to the grid;
- a remote generation monitoring system.
Monitoring Remote monitoring of generation makes it possible to quickly see deviations — soiled panels, a failed string or inverter — and respond before the plant loses a noticeable part of its annual output.
Stages
- Design Plant design: array layout, electrical solutions, substation.
- Pile field Pile driving and installation of the steel structures for the panels.
- Electrical installation Mounting of modules, laying of cable routes, installation of inverters and the transformer substation.
- Commissioning Equipment adjustment, launch of monitoring, putting the plant into operation in September 2024.
Result
The plant is operating and sending generation data to the monitoring system. We design and build solar systems of various scales — from a private house to an industrial plant: learn more in the Solar Panels and Energy Efficiency sections.
